One link for the whole team.

Pip the mascot in soccer gear with a team roster

Team roster
without the spreadsheet

Coaches and team parents always need the same thing: a way to reach every family when a field changes, a game gets rained out, or the snack schedule shifts. Pip's contact lists give you that in a minute. Send the link and an access code, each family adds their own details and picks what to share, and you approve who joins.

Three steps, about a minute

1

Name the team and set an access code

"U10 Thunder", "Varsity swim" — plus a short code you send along with the link so a forwarded message is useless.

2

Families add their own line

Parent names, the player, and a phone number or email, each with its own share checkbox. No app for anyone.

3

You approve each family

Entries stay pending until you say yes, and a pending family sees nothing about the roster.

What a team list is really for

The messages that can't wait for the next practice.

Game day

  • Rainouts and field changes
  • Late buses and carpools
  • Uniform and gear reminders
  • Warm-up times
  • Tournament logistics

Season long

  • Snack and water rotations
  • Team photo day
  • Coach gift collections
  • End-of-season party
  • Fundraiser sign-ups

Keep it tidy

  • One list per team, per season
  • Approve only families you know
  • Remove a family the moment they ask
  • Close the list when the season ends

Better than a group text thread

Opt in field by field

Some families share a number, some an email, some just a name. Their call.

An access code gate

Without the code, the page shows the team name and nothing else.

Approval before access

A pending entry can't see the roster or even how many families joined.

No accounts for families

Link, code, details, done — works on any phone.

Updates itself

A family changes a number from the same link. No more "latest version" spreadsheets.

Only the team sees it

Approved families and you. Pip never sells personal information.

Questions

Is the team roster free?

Yes. Creating a list, collecting opt-ins, and approving families are free — no Pip Plus needed.

Can assistant coaches see the list?

Anyone you approve as a member can see the shared details, so add your assistants and team parents as entries.

Do parents need an account?

No. They open the link, enter the access code, and add themselves. Only the organizer needs a free Pip account.

Does this handle snack duty too?

That's a sign-up sheet, which Pip also does. Use a contact list for details and a sign-up sheet for who brings what.

What happens at the end of the season?

Close the list, or keep it and start a fresh one when the roster changes.
